Q: I am here, at the HQ. What do I do now?
A: If you would like to join the Neo Army, click on the Join button on the sidebar. Alternatively, you can go to our guild page on Neopets |

Q: I just joined. What do I do now?
A: Well, the first thing you should know is what the NeoArmy is, what it's here for, etc. The mission statement can be seen on the top of every guild page. Essentially, we're here to help people. It would be good if you went to the message board and said your NeoName. Then you should find something that you would like to do. |

Q: How do I join a Squad?
A: The Neo Army has several different squads or units, each with particular tasks. They deal with everything from Counter Intelligence to Donation Distribution. You can learn more about squads by clicking the Squads button on the sidebar at the HQ. When you've picked out the one you like, fill in the form at the bottom. Be sure to enter a second choice: certain squads may already be filled up. After you've joined, you should report by neomail to your CO (Commanding Officer) for further duty.

Q: How do I get promoted?
A: Ah, the question that we REALLY get asked a lot. Contrary to popular belief, you cannot get a higher rank by donating a lot of stuff or being really active on the message board. The way to get promoted is to find a Squad that suits your tastes and skills, and be a useful and active member of that squad's activities. Your squad leader, with the blessing of the Founders, may give you promotions up to a certain level, but not very much. Promotions over the level of junior officers are decided upon exclusively by the Founders.

Q: Where do I donate?
A: Although donations will not get you promoted, we do encourage people to send us stuff. Everything you send gets used wisely: it goes either into a Survival Pack, into the Disposal Store, or into the safety deposit box to be given away at our semi-regular Parties. If you wish to donate items, send them ONLY to the account "neo_army". NO OTHER ACCOUNT IS OFFICIALLY ACCEPTING DONATIONS FOR THE NEO ARMY! If you wish to donate money, go to our Disposal Store and buy a lipstick. You don't have to give it back ;)

Q: My pet is starving!
A: What you need is a Survival Pack. Survival Packs are given away by members of the Donation Distribution Unit (DDU) to people who have 300np or less. They contain some food and an occasional toy. Don't forget that if your pet is hungry, you can go claim a free omelette at Tyrannia - that's three meals! Or you can go to the Hints section of the HQ to learn how to make a quick neopoint. But if you truly do need a Survival Pack, you can ask for one (and ask nicely!) from any of the members of the DDU. We will have a listing of members of each squad in a while, for now turn to General neo17397 (CO of the DDU) or post a message on the message board.

Q: My pet has NeoPox (or some other disease)! And he has zero health points after a particularly nasty Battledome fight! HELP!
A: Don't worry. There is a much better way to cure your pet than buying a really expensive medicine. You can just go to the Healing Springs and click on Heal My Pets. Your pet might not be cured the first time, but you can go there every half hour. |
