Well Neopets has been very active again , lots of new furniture was added again also some new robots ,
they have started the beta testing of the employment agency
(If you are one of the lucky 100 Congrats!!!)
so that will probably be up and running very soon .

The have also made a new world: Tyrannia , it has a food shop with lots of new food in it at resonable prices starting around 25np
going up to the highest 4500np, but alot of items are below 100 np.

The Pit, Doesnt say what it will be yet but is supposed to come soon so keep an eye on it....

They have made a cave where soon you can print out and colour paintings

Keno will probably be a game were not sure but we suppose so???

There also is a furniture shop but it doenst hold any furniture yet but im sure it will be filled with lots of goodies very soon.

Speaking about furniture again dont forget to get your free speakers through the free items page by signing up with the sponsor,
you can keep them for your neohome or try to sell them in your shop ,
auction etc. today they are still around 2,500np each so you can get a fair amount of np for something you got totaly free ;)

NEONEWS 13.03.01. (for the latest news scroll down)

Welcome to another edition of the Neo Army's news bulletin,
brought to you by Colonel Flasher T.

In this issue: Neohomes
The neohomes are the latest greatest thing. Now you and your pets can have a house of your own, built from a wide range of materials. I'm going to try and talk you through the process of getting a neohome.

1. Where?
You can build your home in Neopia Central, Mystery Island, Spooky Woods, Terror Mountain or Faerieland. Each place has different ground tiles, and the land costs more. In the Central, a plot of land will only cost 1000np, but the same plot in Faerieland will set you back a whopping 25000np. Whether it's worth it or not is entirely up to you. Of course, if you have a Kougra or Mynci you might want to consider Mystery Island, and your beloved mutant might find the Spooky Woods restful, but otherwise I do not see the difference. I myself am perfectly happy with my home in the Central. Also, it's closer to the guild building :)

2. Out of what?
The range of materials is really huge, and quite comprehensive. The cheapest realistic material is wood, with a basic room cost of 500np. Next comes brick, probably the most widely used material. It's tough enough to stand even the harsch winter of Terror Mountain, and costs 1000np without extensions. For interior rooms you can use much better materials, tho. My personal house will have a brick wall on the perimeter, and two dens inside - one of Marble and the other of Wood. For those who are better off, a Marble house in Faerieland should be a very good choice. If you're one of those people obsessed with faeries, you can build your home out of clouds. The only problem obvious to me is - your faerie pets will be flying out the roof all the time!

3. Which exits?
You can put any combination of exits in your rooms. My advice is this: for interior rooms, put all exits. For outer ones, leave the wall facing the street solid. You can do fine with just one or two entrances. One thing to avoid, tho, is blocking the exit of another room.

4. Which extensions?
Extensions suck neopoints at an amazing day. At the time this was written, there were four: carpeting, lighting, wallpaper and heating. Carpeting and wallpaper are relatively cheap, and I have Royal wallpaper myself, and quality carpeting. Lighting costs big money, tho. I decided to stop on fashion lamps. Central heating is up to you. Starting with level 3, it depends on your preferences only, whether you want to heat your house with a warm fireplace or Neo Heating System. I have a fireplace. And with all these extensions, a brick rooms costs me around 1700np.

5. Which furniture?
None. Furniture has just come on the market, and it's terribly expensive. You will most definitely pay more than it's worth if you buy now (unless you're fast enough to catch something in the official shop), so you'll save a lot of money if you decide on a stay at the NeoLodge till construction of your house is completed.

26.02.01 Other news... Changing Items and Lots of new food.

The Neopets designers haven't been eating pizza all day, but have been working on making alot of new items (like new food) and redesigning alot of allready existing items.
